At Josemaria Resources Inc., responsible leadership is at the core of everything we do. We hold the values of accountability, respect, integrity, honesty and transparency as paramount to developing long-term, mutually beneficial, trusting relationships with all our stakeholders: communities, government, workforce, civil society, shareholders, business partners, among others.
Our approach to corporate responsibility involves conducting business in a highly ethical manner, demonstrating leadership in environmental management, ensuring the safety of our workforce and nearby communities, optimizing economic benefits for both our host jurisdiction and our investors, and engaging openly and collaboratively with stakeholders. We demonstrate leadership in these areas by aligning with international good practice – such as the International Finance Corporation’s Performance Standards on Environmental and Social Sustainability – and seeking out and implementing innovative environmental, social and governance solutions to address key project risks and opportunities.
These principles are fundamental to the way we manage and make decisions at all stages of project development. Our aim is to set the example for high Andean mining projects.
