Ashley Heppenstall

Ashley Heppenstall

Mr. Heppenstall previously served as the President, Chief Executive Officer and Finance Director of Lundin Petroleum AB, an oil and gas exploration and productions company with core assets in Norway and South East Asia, from 2002-2015. Early in his career, Mr. Heppenstall worked in the banking sector where he was involved in project financing of oil and resource sector businesses. Since 1993, Mr. Heppenstall has worked with public companies associated with the Lundin Group of companies. In 1998 he was appointed Finance Director of Lundin Oil AB. Following the acquisition of Lundin Oil by Talisman Energy in 2001, Lundin Petroleum was formed and Mr. Heppenstall was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer in 2002 until his retirement in 2015. Mr. Heppenstall obtained a degree in Mathematics from Durham University.

Lukas H. Lundin

Mr. Lundin is known for recognizing value and superior global investment opportunities in the natural resource sector. His uninhibited pursuit of highly prospective properties around the world has resulted in numerous resource discoveries, including the multi-million ounce Veladero gold discovery. Mr. Lundin has also led several companies through highly profitable business acquisitions and mergers such as Lundin Mining's $3.3 billion merger with EuroZinc Mining, the $2 billion sale of Tanganyika Oil Company Ltd. and most recently the $9.2 billion sale of Red Back Mining Inc. Mr. Lundin is a graduate of the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. He currently sits on the Board of a number of publicly traded companies.


Adam I. Lundin

Adam I. Lundin

Mr. Adam Lundin is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Josemaria Resources and the Chief Executive Officer of Filo Mining Corp. Adam is a third-generation mining entrepreneur, having been immersed in the multi-faceted natural resources industry his entire life, following in the footsteps of his father Lukas H. Lundin and his grandfather Adolf H. Lundin. Adam began his career over 15 years ago, learning the ‘ins’ and ‘outs’ of the industry from the ground up, commencing with prospecting and core logging roles with various Lundin Group companies in his early teens. Venturing outside of the family business in his twenties, Adam forged his reputation in the International world of finance and capital markets in Toronto and New York; ultimately leading to his role of Co-Lead of an internationally recognized securities firm in London, UK. Adam is a former board member of Lundin Gold, and currently sits on the boards of directors of Filo Mining Corp., NGEx Minerals Ltd. and Africa Energy Corp.


Jack O.A. Lundin

Jack O.A. Lundin

Mr. Jack Lundin has been involved in the natural resource industry his entire life through exposure to the various Lundin Group companies and through his mentorship under Messrs. Lukas, Ian and the late Adolf Lundin.  Following many summers in the field, holding international prospecting and field technician roles with the Group, in 2012 Jack commenced working as an analyst in the commercial department for Lundin Norway As., a subsidiary of Lundin Petroleum AB.  Jack now holds the position of Project Superintendent for Lundin Gold, on the construction of its world class Fruta del Norte gold project in Ecuador.  Jack hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Chapman University and a Master of Engineering degree in Mineral Resource Engineering from the University of Arizona. Jack also sits on the board of directors of Denison Mines Corp. (TSX: DML)


Wojtek Wodzicki

Wojtek Wodzicki

Dr. Wodzicki has a doctorate in Geosciences from the University of Arizona and over 30 years of experience in international mineral exploration and corporate management. He has led successful exploration teams throughout the world, and has managed large scale projects from the generative stage through to engineering studies. Teams led by Dr. Wodzicki are responsible for several significant discoveries including Los Helados, Josemaría, Filo del Sol, and El Limon-Guajes. Dr. Wodzicki has worked for the Lundin Group since 2007 and was previously CEO of Filo Mining and Sanu Resources and served as a director of several public companies. He was responsible for the spinout of Filo Mining from NGEx, and is currently a director and technical adviser to Filo Mining.


Paul Conibear

Paul Conibear

Mr. Conibear previously served as the CEO and Director of Lundin Mining from 2011 through 2018, Senior VP Corporate Development and Projects of Lundin Mining from 2007 through 2011, a director of NGEx Resources from 2009 through 2016 and the CEO/COO and Director of Tenke Mining Corp. from 1999 through 2007. Mr. Conibear was one of ten founders of Simons Mining Group (Now Amec), where he served as the Manager, Vancouver office and Project Manager from 1994 through 1999. From 1982 through 1994, Mr. Conibear was responsible for project management of a number of projects at Fluor Daniel Wright, including feasibility studies, details design and construction.

Mr. Conibear has more than 35 years of progressively more responsible positions in the resource sector ranging through management of all phases of mine investment including exploration, economic assessments, construction, operations and closure. He has geographic experience for assets in multiple jurisdictions including Africa, Europe, Russia, South and North America and commodity experience including base and precious metals, diamonds, coal and industrial materials.


Ron F. Hochstein

Ron F. Hochstein

Mr. Hochstein has a wealth of experience in the mining industry. Ron has worked for the Lundin family directly and as a consultant for over twenty years and is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Lundin Gold - a near-term gold-producing company whose key asset is the Fruta del Norte gold deposit, in Ecuador.  Prior to becoming President and CEO of Lundin Gold, Mr. Hochstein served as President and CEO of Denison Mines Corp. (TSX, NYSE MKT) for seven years. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hochstein was a Project Manager with Simons Mining Group and worked at Noranda Minerals as a metallurgical engineer. Mr. Hochstein has a B.Sc. in metallurgical engineering and an MBA.


Christina Batruch

Christina Batruch

Ms. Batruch is the Vice President Corporate Responsibility of Lundin Petroleum AB (Nasdaq Stockholm).  Ms. Batruch, a citizen of Canada and Switzerland, is an historian and lawyer by training, graduate of the University of Toronto and McGill University respectively, admitted as barrister and solicitor at the Law Society of Upper Canada.

Based in Geneva, Ms. Batruch has worked in the non-profit, academic and business sectors.  She participated in the establishment in Ukraine of a number of non-profit institutions linked to the Soros network of foundations. Concurrently she was liaison officer and assistant professor at the International Academy of the Environment.  As VP Corporate Responsibility at Lundin Petroleum, which she joined in 2001, Ms. Batruch is responsible for the company’s sustainability strategy as it relates to Anti-Corruption, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Human Rights, Stakeholder Relations, Sustainable Investments and International Initiatives.

Ms. Batruch is President of the Board of the Fondation Vidrodgenia (Geneva) and of the Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Family Foundation, member of the Board of Directors of the Lundin Foundation (Vancouver) and member of the Advisory Board of International Philanthropic Society (Stockholm).  She is on the Editorial Board of the Journal of World Energy Law and Business (Oxford) and of the Oil Gas and Energy Law Intelligence (online journal)
